BD BaculoGold™ Max-XP is a complete, serum-free insect cell culture medium designed to maximize the growth of the Sf9 and Sf21 insect cell lines derived from the fall army worm, Spodoptera frugiperda, and other insect cell lines, including Drosophila melanogaster.

Preparation and Storage
Store undiluted at 4°C.
This medium is ideally suited for propogation of cell lines, propagation of virus, and for optimized, high-level expression of heterologous proteins, especially in the Baculovirus Expression Vector System. This medium may be used for shaker, suspension or monolayer cultures. For co-transfection, insect cells grown in TNM-FH medium (fully supplemented Grace"s medium), Cat. No. 554760, are recommended.
